Biography

Byron Burton is a screenwriter, songwriter, patent-holding inventor, public speaker, and national award winning journalist from Central Kentucky. Byron writes for The Hollywood Reporter and is represented by Zero Gravity Management. In 2018, Byron Burton won a National Arts and Entertainment Journalism Award for Best Online Feature: X-Men at 25. Byron hosts numerous Oscar and Emmy panels as well as Q and A's with filmmakers, actors, composers, and writers. In 2016, Byron worked with the producers of 20th Century Fox's X-Men Apocalypse to write the polish lullaby "Rest Young Child" that Michael Fassbender performs in the film. Byron and Oscar winning Editor, producer, and composer John Ottman wrote a follow up X-Men spin off entitled "Fear the Beast," which was pitched to FOX as a solo film following the success of Deadpool. Byron is currently in development on two television series and two original feature films.
