Kerri Cecil is a Writer/Director/Producer, a transgender woman and is studying Film and Television Production at the USC School of Cinematic Arts. Kerri obtained an Associates Degree from the Film and Television program at Los Angeles City College in the summer of 2017 and is now a 2017 Point Foundation Scholar.
She has written, directed and produced numerous short films including 'The Journey' which won her two awards at the International Transgender Film Festival in Germany. Her other projects include a feature documentary called 'Transformed-Surviving the Darkside of Hollywood' and she is also one of the producers and the director of the historical docu-series called 'Trans Experience LA'.
She worked for the Peter Rodgers Organization (PRO FILMS), a worldwide film and television distribution company which represents copyright holders/owners of classic television shows (My Favorite Martian, I Spy) and classic films. As the former Director of Operations, Kerri worked to get these shows and films out to consumers on platforms such as Hulu, Amazon Prime, Youtube and Roku.
Kerri also worked on both seasons 1 and 2 of Caitlyn Jenner's Reality show "I Am Cait"
She currently is writing some amazing scripts including the a short film introducing the worlds first transgender super hero while at USC. She will be directing it 2018
