Biography

Morgan Parker is a philanthropic adventurer who founded the non-profit organisation Wheel2Wheel in 2009. He grew up in Brisbane, Australia. He attended Brisbane Boys' College where he served as school captain in 1991. He was subsequently awarded a scholarship to attend Bond University and graduated with a Bachelor of Laws in 1994. For eighteen years Parker worked as a real estate investment banker across Asia. He became noted for a rock-star-like appearance and being a thought-leader in the Asian real estate industry. Parker served on numerous industry boards and has been featured in over 200 media articles and 20 television segments. Parker speaks regularly at industry conferences and as an inspirational speaker at schools and corporations globally. In 2011 on behalf of Wheel2Wheel, Parker undertook a motorcycle adventure in support of ten grassroots charities. Parker rode solo from Hong Kong to Brisbane through ten countries, travelling 25,000 kilometres over 125 days to raise money and awareness for the organisations. The adventure became a ten-part television series that broadcast on National Geographic Channel in 2012. Parker's charitable work focuses on key humanitarian issues affecting the world The second series of Wheel2Wheel is expected in 2015. Parker has one daughter and resides in Hong Kong.
