Richard holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Film and Television Production with an emphasis in television production and has more than five years experience in business administration. Richard fluently speaks, reads and writes in Spanish.
Richard had been a video Editor, Executive Assistant, Marketing Coordinator, Producer for model, actor, singer and BET host Sam Sarpong of Yo Mama fame for his production company Future Stars, He served as editor for Sam Sarpong's Africa Rising Interview which aired in the UK in 2012 through Sam, Richard is friends with Ken Kokin who is head of Development and Production at Perfect World Pictures(U.S branch), Jon Edwards who is Executive Director of Broadcast Operations at ABC, among others. He had also worked under Mark S. Westmore A.C.E the editor of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Melrose Place, and the movie HEAT, and John Morrisey who served as editor on such films as The Fugitive, Titanic, and Sudden Impact. He has also directed Amber Lee Ettinger of Obama Girl fame, on his short film The Specialist, which got invited to The LA Noir Film Festival in 2015.
He worked with Miss Arizona 2011 Brittany Bell on a fashion shoot with actor Lance Gross, and has also directed music videos for Destenee McKenzie who had her song illuminate on the Top 10 Billboard Sales chart in 2014. He served as a writer on the UCLA senior thesis film Good Day in 2015. He is associate producer on the documentary film A Punk Daydream that has distribution in Belgium and has more than 1 million views with just clips and trailers, and currently submitting it to film festivals, and will be at the Edinburgh International Film Festival this year.
Lastly, he is producing several projects with his colleagues Jerome Watson and Philip McCauley that has several named produces Executive Producing, and several films with Steve Race entitled Longshot with Kevin Sorbo, and Bill Engvall and The Story of my Family.
