Joe Crump is an Emmy Award-nominated Director.
Co-Writer and Director of The Storyteller (2018), winner of the Heartland Film Festival "Audience Choice Award" and is widely available on VOD.
He also co-directed the PBS aired documentary, Children of Internment (2013), with his sister, Kristina Wagner.
Joe Crump graduated from film school from Columbia College in Chicago. Moving from Chicago to Los Angeles, he worked in the movie industry for the next 6 years as a grip, as an Educational and Industrial Film scriptwriter, and as part of a camera crew for CNN Chicago Bureau.
He joined the (now defunct) NABET union as a GRIP and over that 6-year period wrote 12 feature-length screenplays.
After that, Joe got "sidetracked" for about 20 years and ended up building a successful real estate investment business and software tech company.
Joe lives in Indiana with his family.
