Maria Alanis

Maria Alanis is a young filmmaker from Stockton, California. She has directed several short films, including Alexithymia and I'd Like to Live, and has also shot commercials for local community organizations. She is an instructor for the Latino Film Institute's Youth Cinema Project. As an up and coming director, producer, and cinematographer, her goals are to, someday, win an Oscar, travel the world and create films that inspire other people.
