Nahuel Srnec

Biography

Nahuel Srnec was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1986. He is Director, Cinematographer and Colorist from Argentina, adherent member of ADF (the Argentina association of cinematographers). He worked in the TELEFE's fiction series (TV channel leader of Argentina), in films with directors like Fernando "Pino" Solanas and in several ad films. He studied physics at the University of Buenos Aires and is graduated from the Diseño de Imagen y Sonido career (Picture and Sound Design) at the same university. He was professor of cinematography at the University of Buenos Aires and in the training center of the union of the Argentina film industry (CFP SICA). He has been professor in ENERC INCAA (the National Institute of Cinema's Film School) since 2013, CIC (Centro de Investigación Cinematográfico), UADE, Columbia, among other colleges. He is a member of the cinematography committee of IRAM (ISO's Argentine partner) and participates in the voting of the new ISO film standards. He has directed a series of short films: "Stay with me" (2016), "Embryo" (2018), "Wolf on the loose" (completed), "The last child" (in production) and "Chúlina" (in post production).
