Megan K. Fox was born on January 15th 1992 in Dublin, Ireland as Megan Kathleen Fox. She is a director and writer, known for short films 'Battle' (2015), 'Slow Down' (2015) and 'Girl' (2016).
Her graduation film 'Battle' (2015) won awards internationally and saw Megan feature on an episode of 'Beyond the Lens' for Irish TV that focused solely on her short film work.
Megan's next short film 'Slow Down' (2015) won the Colchester Film Festival's '60 Hour Film Challenge' from entries by over 1.5K teams worldwide. It screened at the 9th BFI Future Film Festival last year where Megan picked up the award for Best Producer and also saw Megan nominated for Best New Irish Director at the prestigious Kinsale Shark Awards 2016.
Her latest short 'GIRL' (2016) has enjoyed a warm reception on the festival circuit thus far. A realist drama shot in vertical format, 'GIRL' was one of the winners of the WFTV Lifetime Shorts Competition, named Best Short Film at the Dublin Feminist Film Festival and earned Megan the title of Best Director Under 25 at the BAFTA qualifying Underwire Festival 2016. The film was also named Shooting People's Film of the Month in January 2017.
