Reid Thomas Bard

Born in Phoenix, Arizona to a large family. Years of unmotivated academic performance lead him in search of a life path, eventually being introduced to film by his older sister, through home movies. He took to it strongly and became very interested in just about every aspect of film making. He studied films obsessively and taught himself as much as he could possibly find on the subject. The infatuation only grew upon entering high school as his focus because much more driven when he eventually made his first short film, Howling Dogs. Still unsure of his new found abilities on a whim he submitted the film to the Arizona Student Film Festival, at which he won first place for best high school short, convincing him to keep at it, and from then on it became his absolute passion.
