Biography

Spanish actress. One of her latest theatre projects in 2016 was "Verona", an adaptation of "Castelvines y Monteses" by Lope de Vega which was awarded a special mention by the jury of the The Almagro International Festival of Classical Theatre Foundation. Moreover, she had parts in: "Titella d'aigua" for the company Bambalina Teatre Practicable; "Cyrano de Bergerac" by Edmond Rostand and directed by Roberto García; or "12 razones para no comprar xxxxxxxxx" under Paco Zarzoso's direction. She has participated in a wide gamut of audiovisual projects like: the feature film "Edgar" directed by Guillermo Barreira; the music video "Mi más bonita casualidad" a joint production of Coca Cola and Sony Music; the commercial "València és primavera" directed by Carles Chiner; the short film "Yogur y chocolate" under the direction of Susi Gozalvo; or the experimental short film "Post Scriptum" directed by Santiago Parres. Gloria earned her degree in Acting at the Dramatic Arts School in Valencia (ESAD). She has a keen interest in different areas of performing arts leading her to deepen her knowledge in: medieval and classic theatre with Ana Zamora, Vicente Fuentes, José Padilla, Will Keen and Ernesto Arias; interpreting with Andrés Lima; actor training with Pei Hwee Tan and Francesc Torrent (Workcenter of J. Grotowski and T. Richards); Jacques Lecoq's technique with Norman Taylor; and preparation for casting auditions with Carmen Utrilla, Tonucha Vidal and Javier Luna. Gloria also has experience in contemporary dance, fencing, mime, singing and verse.
