Carlo Ferrari was born in Switzerland and early developed a strong interest in photography. During his studies as a surveying engineer, he also got to know the interesting facets of terrestrial photogrammetry. Later he combined this knowledge with his professional flying activities. This resulted in a large collection of landscape shots (picture & film). In addition, he was also engaged in the production of promotional short films for aviation organizations. Since he operates a former Airliner aircraft (Beech-18), he is increasingly focusing on the air-to-air photography of very rare aircraft. In addition to countless flight demonstrations, he and his vintage aircraft have been booked several times for filming in major productions (e.g. Captain America - The First Avenger, Dambusters - The Race to Smash the German Dams).
