Dimitrios "Dfl" Floris was born in Thessaloniki, Greece. He is the son of two Greek parents who were also born in Thessaloniki. He was part of the environmental group in his high school in the city of Agios Nicholaos, where he created his first documentary, "Meres Gis" about global warming. His work met acclaim from the local population and was sent to two international festival. It was also screened at a local public event after invitation. He majored in film editing and film criticism at the Film School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. The website and the team have partnered with many film festivals and events in general that promote arts, equality and peace. He has volunteered in many non-profit organizations such as Thessaloniki 2014: European Youth Capital, Thess Checkpoint (HIV prevention center), Thessaloniki Pride, Ulysses (Local Arts Team), Greenpeace. ARSIS, WWF and many more. He is now focusing mostly on film criticism in general, the study of episodic storytelling and the conventions of cinematic universes.
