Biography

Because of her mellifluous voice Lainie Sloane has performed in numerous television and radio commercials. However; it was during the late 1970s that Lainie first entered the Hollywood studio scene as an executive. She began working at Walt Disney Studios and within a year rose to the position of the Executive Assistant to the President of Walter Elias Disney (WED), known as Disney Imagineering which develops and oversees the Disney Theme Parks. Lainie's ascendancy broke all previous records in the Disney organization since no one was allowed to begin at the studio entry level and move up the ladder as rapidly as she did. Lainie also worked as Executive Assistant to Presidents of the following Hollywood companies: ON-TV (a Norman Lear, Jerry Perrinchio and Oak Industries network), Columbia Pictures (now Sony Pictures), Sony Music Publishing (Hollywood), Sony Music/Tree Publishing (Nashville), Warner Brothers Animation (Hollywood). Lainie's executive talents were not limited to the film and broadcasting industries; she was also instrumental in the start-up of a retro record label, Click Records with Dick Clark and. Ollie E. Brown. Lainie is currently a music publishing consultant with Angeles Crest Productions and Managing Consultant for Hope Broadcasting Company.
