Biography

Jazzy Ellis is a Screen Actors Guild Award winning SAG-AFTRA stunt actor, social justice warrior, and public speaker with over 75 film and TV credits, including Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, HBO's The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, The Walking Dead, Bad Boys for Life, and Chaos Walking. She has stunt doubled for actresses such as CCH Pounder, Sanaa Lathan, Nathalie Emmanuel, Renée Elise Goldsberry, and Charmin Lee. Jazzy is a model of resilience and mental fortitude. Her adversity has propelled her to live her most mindful and healthy life, to achieve lofty goals, and to teach others how to do the same. Jazzy graduated pre-med from Princeton University in 2010 with a Bachelor's degree in Religion and a certificate in Spanish Language and Culture, and later received an MBA. She is a former pageant queen, professional dancer, radio show host, and high school math and special education teacher. Born and raised in New Jersey, Jazzy has lived in New Orleans, Louisiana, the Ecuadorian Amazon--yes, you read that correctly--, and as of 2020 resides in Atlanta, GA. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and a member of the TV Academy (Emmy Awards), Stunts Peer Group. She currently serves on Princeton University's Atlanta Alumni Schools Committee, Princeton Prize in Race Relations Atlanta Committee, and Association of Black Princeton Alumni--Atlanta Chapter. Jazzy is also a member of the Diversity/EEO Committee and the New Member/Next Generation Committee of SAG-AFTRA Atlanta local. Her lifestyle is curated and cultivated around learning, adventure, and strengthening her courage with daily practice. In 2020 and beyond, Jazzy looks forward to producing more of her own courageous content for film and TV and to collaborating with the most talented people in their respective industries.
