Biography

Vera Sanada is a Brazilian producer, writer and TV series host. In 1996 she co-created the company Aventuras Produções e Edições Educativas Ltda. in Brazil, which is dedicated to promoting culture through TV and Cinema productions and special expeditions, executed on 6 continents. Vera Sanada produced and collaborated on several international projects, with expeditions to produce films and series about indigenous tribes, life along the great Brazilian rivers, the expedition of the 500 years of the Discovery of Brazil from Portugal to Brazil, the history of Japan and the Japanese immigration to Brazil, the Brazilian coast, the Phoenician Ship expedition circumnavigating the African continent for 2 years, scuba diving tourism and environmental actions. Vera was the producer of the first Brazilian IMAX film, Amazon Adventure 3D, shot in the largest forest in the world, which received several awards such as 2 Lumiere from the Hollywood Advanced Imaging Society and 5 from the Giant Screen Cinema Association. An environmental activist she co-created the Casa Orgânica and Earth Odyssey projects, and develops her productions from her sustainable home and studio in Brazil. She has several projects under development.
