Olly is an independent filmmaker based in Yorkshire and is the co-founder of Relic Films UK: a Northern-based film production company. He particularly specialises in film directing debuting with his ambitious short film: Il Constantia (2016), a micro-budget Roman-themed short film. He has worked on many other short form and feature films in various roles such as DoP, camera operator, 1st AD, sound mixer, etc. His most recent short film is Long Gone: a film that follows Sophie and Millie finding a device that shows them encounters of the past with disastrous consequences once they think they can control it. Olly has taken part in the Aesthetica Short Film Festival as a featured panelist speaking about his approach to filmmaking and on the theme of finding your creative voice. He has a degree in Film and Television Production from York St John University and is also a Technical Demonstrator at York St John University.
