Iván Reina Ortiz

Filmmaker from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia in Bogota. Producer of the short films "Los ojos de mi padre" ("The eyes of my father", Juan Felipe Ríos, 2012) - New Creators Competition, 53rd Cartagena Film Festival 2013 - and "Un rumor atraviesa el tiempo" ("A murmur crosses time", Anna Silva S., 2013). He has worked as well as cinematographer in fiction and documentary short films, and as writer/director in his own works, which explore the intimate and the autobiographic. His first approach to the documentary genre was the short film "el parche" (2012), selected at four film festivals in his country. His first feature-length documentary, "Los habitantes de La Casa del Diablo" ("The squatters of the Devil's House", 2015) won a grant from the Colombian Film Development Fund in 2013.
