Howard Gorman is a screenwriter and freelance journalist born in Huddersfield, Yorkshire, in 1975, where he was raised, before leaving to live in Bilbao, after graduating from a degree in Psychology and Spanish at Middlesex University.
He is currently the content and social media coordinator for AMC Networks International Iberia's DARK TV, the only television channel in Spain devoted entirely to the horror genre. He also curates all the content for the channel's official website.
He also writes/has written for genre outlets in both English and Spanish such as Scream Magazine, Fangoria, Blumhouse, Rue Morgue, Dread Central, Shock Till You Drop and Tom Holland's Terror Time.
To date, Howard has now interviewed a wide range of celebrities for television, radio, printed publications and websites ranging from Park Chan-wook, Frank Langella, Kris Kistofferson, Stephen Merchant, Jaume Balaguero, Leigh Whannell, Dolph Lundgren, Alexandre Aja, Elijah Wood, Eli Roth, Andrés Muschietti and Maika Monroe.
Aside from writing for genre publications he is also a screenplay writer in collaboration with Noctambule Cinema, a Barcelona based production company with various projects now completed or set to shoot in the coming months. He also adapts scripts from Spanish into English with the most recent example being Marc Carreté's upcoming horror feature, After The Lethargy.
