Biography

Julian Grey is based in Los Angeles, CA where he lives with his parents, older brother and twin sister. With a German father and American mother, Grey holds dual citizenship and has both US and EU passports. Grey can be seen most recently in Blumhouse's The Craft: Legacy (2020) directed by Zoe Lister-Jones, and Searchlight Pictures Downhill (2020) directed by Academy Award winning screenwriters Nat Faxon and Jim Rash. Grey recently completed filming on another studio film set to release in Fall 2021, but the role has yet to be announced. Grey's additional film credits include a recurring role on Netflix's limited series Godless (2017), the critically-acclaimed, gritty western executive produced by Steven Soderbergh, Casey Silver, and Scott Frank who also wrote and directed the series. 'Godless' was named one of 2017's ten best shows by 'Vanity Fair' and 'The Washington Post.' Grey has also worked on two projects that address mental health issues: an unreleased Hulu/Sony Pilot directed by Minkie Spiro, based on the novel 'Crash and Burn' by Michael Hassan, and a short film where Grey portrayed a teen suffering from hallucinations due to Bipolar Disorder. Grey began acting at the age of nine, and landed his first television role on an episode of Fox's Wayward Pines (2015), opposite Melissa Leo and Hope Davis, where he played the ten-year-old son of Nurse Pam.
