Claire Andreae

Claire M. Andreae is a documentary director, producer, and editor. She was born in Mainz, Germany, where she attended German schools and after receiving the Abitur moved to Los Angeles to study Film and Television Production at Loyola Marymount University. She grew up bilingually, speaking English and German, and has traveled extensively throughout her life. During her time at LMU, she has so far directed one short documentary that was accepted at four festivals and has won awards for best student film and best editing. She has recently completed her short documentary, ATTO: An Adventure in the Amazon, which focuses on an international research project in the Amazon rainforest. Believing film to be a powerful force that can contribute towards creating a better world, Claire M. Andreae will continue making documentaries that both educate and entertain, thus helping her audiences to appreciate and understand the world around us.
