Biography

Miyori Alexis Jones is an American actress, model and television correspondent. Born in Englewood New Jersey, Miyori is of African American and Cherokee Indian descent. Miyori began her modeling career after a talent scout for Seventeen Magazine saw her in a mall and invited her to casting. She went on to work with Seventeen Magazine for a few years, doing her first television appearance with them for a segment for "Good Morning America" followed by a back to school campaign with designer Marc Ecko. Having decided that a life in entertainment was what she wanted most, and with her parents support, Miyori left her small home town to embark on a career as a model and actress in Hollywood, California. Since then, she's gone on to work with Nick Cannon on several projects including the feature film "School Dance" and on Nick's hit show "Wild'n Out". Her first acting role was as a lead in director Jean Claude Lamar's film, "The Sins of Deacon Whyles", starring Jackee Harry, who played her mother in the film. She also starred in "King of Kings", a straight to DVD film set to be released in 2018. Miyori also added hosting to her list of talents and found herself temporarily relocated in NY doing celebrity interviews for local radio stations and for a NY based magazine, Bleu Magazine. Miyori continues to make her mark in the entertainment industry from her new home in Atlanta, GA.
