Samir Zakir

Samir Zakir was born and raised in San Diego, California and serves Illuminate Entertainment as the Founder, CEO, and Motion Picture Producer. He oversees day-to-day operations, and all aspects of the company and individual projects - ranging from film, TV, and digital. He is focused on development, optioning and securing rights to highly competitive material, securing financing, producing, marketing, arranging distribution and advertising, and packaging each project from conception to delivery. He is an entrepreneur with a desire to have a positive impact on culture through producing and transforming powerful and compelling stories into content. Zakir has a vision to inspire and entertain his audience, and is committed to implement his vision with integrity, reality, and passion in each project.
