Kayla Borg

Biography

Kayla Borg is an Atlanta based filmmaker, writer and actor. She is a technical director/editor for CNN. Kayla studied film/television production at Western Carolina University where she concentrated in screenwriting and directing. She also studied English with a concentration in creative writing and film studies. In 2013, she played Elizabeth Bennet in a stage production of Pride and Prejudice. Kayla's screen credits include, Netflix's Original Series Bloodline, Cinema Slasher Presents: Night Whispers "Hoodie Weather", (which won various awards at MonsterCon Film festival), Cinema Slasher Presents: Night Whispers "Monsters" (as first assistant director), and Jerry: A Bromantic Comedy (production assistant). She is writing, directing, and acting in her first feature film, "Shades of Blue and Yellow." (2017) Kayla is also co-writing and directing a short film with professor and musician Derek Menchan, entitled, "The Appointment". (2017)
