Nicolette Love Suwoton

Nicolette is a UK musician, actress, DJ and director of Nigerian parentage. Living in London as of 2010, she was born in Glasgow, Scotland, and has lived in Nigeria, Switzerland, France, and Belgium. Her music, although falling broadly into the field of electronica, is characterised by many influences, including, jazz, classical, blues, folk, and African, resulting in a highly individualistic sound. Known for her distinctive sensual, childlike voice, she has been described as "Billie Holiday on acid". She has done four solo albums, as well working with many acclaimed musicians including Massive Attack, Plaid, DJ Cam, and 4 Hero. Her music has featured in many film soundtracks and she has directed several of her own music videos. She has recently started an acting career.
