Lisa Takeuchi Cullen

Lisa Takeuchi Cullen is a Japanese-American writer and producer. She is a consulting producer on Season 21 of Law & Order: SVU, and is under an overall deal from Universal Studios. She created The Ordained, a produced pilot for CBS starring Charlie Cox, Sam Neill and Hope Davis, and has had script deals with ABC, NBC/Universal, CBS Studios, A&E and Warner Bros. Cullen was a staff writer and foreign correspondent for TIME magazine, and has written and edited on staff for numerous publications. She is the author of the novel "Pastors' Wives" (2013, Plume/Penguin), and of "Remember Me: A Lively Tour of the New American Way of Death" (2006, HarperCollins). She serves as a member of the WGA East Council. Cullen was born and raised in Kobe, Japan, and lives in New Jersey with her family.
