Michelle Alexander is an actor/writer originally from Vancouver Island, Canada.
As an actor, Michelle has been featured in many network shows, feature and short film, including Recurring roles on The Expanse (Amazon) and Designated Survivor (ABC), as well as the Series Regular role of Alison on Darknet (Netflix US, CAN, UK). She is a classically trained actor, and started her career in theater playing lead roles such as Rosalind in As You Like It and Sybil in Private Lives. She has a BFA in performance from the conservatory program at the University of Windsor.
As a writer, Michelle worked on the last season of Haunted Case Files; in 2017 her comedy-horror series Fatal Murder Mystery, she co-wrote/stars in with Sophia Fabiilli, was a finalist in the international Beyond the Box Competition at the Just for Laughs Festival; in 2016, she won Smokebomb Entertainment's AMP Accelerator Competition at the Banff World Media Festival alongside Sophia Fabiilli.
Her latest work, 'Blow Out' a comedy horror short she wrote and stars in is coming out later in 2019.
Michelle works on both sides of the border, splitting her time between Los Angeles and Vancouver.
