Oliver John Devoti born in Birmingham, he went to private school at Whittford Hall in Bromsgrove until at the age of 10. At the age of 10, he moved to Newcastle-upon-Tyne and attended Ryton Comprehensive school.
At the age of 18, Oliver joined the infantry, serving on operations with the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers as part of Close Observation Platoon; a plain clothed unit responsible for gathering intelligence and apprehending high value targets.
Upon his release, Oliver took actor training at the Manchester School of Theatre MMU, receiving his BA Honours in Acting. During his training Oliver found his sister hanged herself on New Years Eve 2008. He continued his studies in honour of his beloved sister.
Oliver's richly unique and turbulent life experiences have helped shape an engaging and intense screen presence, with an incredible depth found only through the lived experience of such a life. These qualities make for beautifully honest and vulnerable performances.
