Robert Didier

Robert Didier is a young contemporary composer who has won multiple awards on the state and national level for his work. Due to an array of musical interest and experience, he indulges himself in many styles such as classical, jazz, rock, soundtrack, pop, and electronic music. Robert studies Composition with Dr. David Gordon and Dr. Shawn Okpebholo in the Wheaton Conservatory of Music (Illinois). He also continues his piano performance studies under the instruction of Dr. Paul Sanchez. Robert has written numerous scores since the age of 6 for a variety of instrumentations, including woodwind quintets, piano and violin duets, wind ensembles, rock bands, percussion ensembles, jazz bands, jazz trios, string orchestras, and (most notably) piano solos. He recently expresses a unique style that incorporates modern jazz voicing into his classical compositions that are particularly evident in Trepidation, Metamorphosis, and his 3 Nuances.
