A not so long time ago, in an Arabian village far far away a girl named Gala was born to two Croatian expatriates and was raised in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
A girl who grew up creating her own fantasies as she traveled around the world with her family (because forest trolls are most dangerous in Switzerland!), took dance lessons (from ballet to baton), and once puberty kicked in... spent an unhealthy amount of time reading and drafting up as many characters as she could for stories she never got around to penning.
Because at the end of the day, she realized she wanted to tell these stories through another medium - acting. That she wanted to see the world through another character's eyes above all else, and walk in as many different pairs of shoes as she could in one lifetime.
The journey continued at the University of Pennsylvania where she studied Communications, Cinema Studies, and English amidst all the Ivy-League traditions (including throwing toast during a football game!), a year in Walt Disney World's Entertainment Department in Orlando, FL and now in New York where she attends the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts (NYU) to obtain her master's degree while pursuing acting further.
To date, Gala has taken the lead in multiple student productions in both stage and film, as well as some Off Off Broadway work and the odd independent film. But this is just the start of the story, and with her unique background, spunky attitude, and willingness to take risks, she is always on the hunt for another adventure.
