Dominique Carino

Biography

Dominique Carino, a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is an independent documentary filmmaker. Her 2014 short documentary, "Diamonds in the Rough," has won several awards, including an Audience Award at the National Film Festival for Talented Youth (NFFTY) - the largest film festival for filmmakers aged 25 and younger. A graduate of Point Park University, Dominique has served on various student and low-budget films as a producer, assistant director, and script supervisor. In addition to her independent work, Dominique has also worked on feature films and television series (including the WGN drama "Outsiders" and the Showtime series "Escape at Dannemora") as a set production assistant, art department production assistant, and payroll clerk.
