Hjörtur Jóhann Jónsson

Born and raised in Reykjavik, Iceland, Hjörtur has performed extensively in film, shorts, television, radio and on stage since graduating from the Icelandic Academy of the Arts in 2012. He co-founded a theatre company in 2012 and has been a residential artist in the Reykjavik City Theatre since 2015. He is also an experienced mountain guide with training in rock and ice climbing, mountaineering, first aid and rescue work and has been a member of the Reykjavík Air&Ground SAR unit since 2005.
