Edwin Haorokcham

Edwin Haorokcham was born in Imphal, Manipur, which is a small state in north-east of India. He is a son of Eigyajit Haorokcham and Kamala (o) Haorokcham, a film producer and a school teacher. His father's elder brother Sanakhya Ibotombi Haorokcham is a National School of Drama (NSD) graduate and a renowned theater personality. Edwin's main influence is his uncle Sanakhya Ibotombi. Edwin Haorokcham attended Sawan Public School in New Delhi where he had his first experienced in art and music. In 2010, his mother produced a Manipuri film where he worked as a production manager. In 2011, he worked as an executive producer in a Manipuri movie Resurrection (Amamba Sayon) and directed it's Original Sound Track (OST)video which was sung by Pramesh R.K (Grief Card) called Because Of You. Johnson Mayanglambam directed the film. He studied Animation and Visual Effects at Frameboxx Animation, Bangalore. Edwin and his close friends formed an indie-folk band Sana Safong on May, 2014. Sana Safong also produced a music video called Lit Up The Sky performed by Singzu Joint in December 2014. Edwin directed and edited the whole video.
