Christina L. Garcia

Born and educated in Burbank, California, Christina became progressively deaf. She is fluent in American Sign Language and uses notes to communicate. She graduated from Burbank High School in 2012. She was accompanied by her nurse from kindergarten through high school as she is ventilator dependent and has special medical needs. She participated and enjoyed theatrical shows in elementary school and enjoyed drama class at Burbank High and culinary arts. While in school and making friends she was attentive to her teachers.
