Tinatin Gurchiani

Tintin Gurchiani was born in 1973 in Tbilisi, Georgia, when that country, now independent, was still part of the former Soviet Union and she did her first studies at the state university there, with a concentration on dance, painting, and psychology.Her postgraduate work was abroad in both Austria and Germany, where she made several short films and a required project to finish a film degree in 2010, before she received financing partly from Germany for her first feature length commercial release.
