Nirozen Thavarajah

Nirozen Thavarajah was born in the northernmost point of Sri Lanka, Point Pedro to Sri Lankan Tamil parents who moved to London in 1991. He grew up in Greenwich, London and attended Woolwich Polytechnic School, Thamesmead in 2000. As a boy he wrote a lot of surreal, off-beat short stories and scripts. At 16 he decided to become a film director so started to make short films varying between 60-90 seconds in length.
