Rene van Rooyen

Rene van Rooyen is a director and screenwriter best known for "Toorbos". She is also co-owner of the motion picture company Red Letter Day Pictures, which has produced various feature films including "Vaselinetjie" "Hollywood in my Huis" and the hit TV-series "Alles Malan". With a Bcom Business degree from Stellenbosch University, she graduated with distinction, obtaining her BA Media in Directing and Screenwriting from the Academy Award winning film school "AFDA film Academy."
