Noel S. V. Omega is the charter co-founder of the Filipino-American Chamber of Commerce of Los Angeles and is the founder/principal consultant of Omega Quadrant. Noel studied Electronics and Computer Engineering at Cal State L.A. and later switched to Computer Systems and Programming at the ComputerLearningCenter in Los Angeles.
Noel worked as a software development manager at various Fortune 500 companies and taught computer programming in the 1980's. In the 1990's, Noel was awarded various U.S. Patents in software technology and design while working as a Software Engineering and Development Manager at Xerox Corporation.
Noel joined the San Fernando Valley Filipino-American Chamber of Commerce in 2003 as its P.R.O. When he was elected as the chamber president in 2005, he incorporated SFV-FACC and established its charter beyond the San Fernando Valley. This culminated in its name change to the Filipino-American Chamber of Commerce of Los Angeles in 2011. He currently serves as president emeritus and advisor for FACC-LA.
Noel serves in various boards including: Jose P. Rizal Monument Movement, Inc. and L.A. Brilliant Lions Club. He also served as a board member for the L.A. Mission College Foundation, Valley VOTE and various other community organizations. He advocates business ownership and works closely with various chambers and all levels of government to help develop viable economic alternatives through free enterprise.
