Biography

Director Christopher L. Ellis has been involved in the entertainment industry for over 20 years. In 1992 he started his music production company (G's & G's Productions) as a way to promote his musical talents as well as help upcoming rap and R&B acts. He has always been a creator of sorts by orchestrating shows at The Fox Theater, The Paramount and The Henry J. Kaiser Theater. He once had a deal on the table with popular label Tommy Boy records as an in house music producer but decided it would take away from his natural process of working with new artist. He decided to take on another challenge by picking up the camera and become a film director, he entered BAVC Film School and graduated with certificates in film production and script writing. In 2009 he started directing music videos for signed and unsigned artist as well as business commercials for corporate America. His first directed feature film was called "Keisha", which created such a buzz online that he was bombarded with offers to direct new projects. His second directed film was called "Cover", a short film that kept his buzz flowing throughout the industry after it screened at The Oakland International Film Festival in 2012. His third feature film was one he wrote and directed called "Hopes Identity", which has become a monster of it's own by generating a huge national fan base.
