Rachel M. Payne

Born in California, Rachel moved to Aurora, Illinois at the age of 4 where she grew up as the oldest of 5 homeschooled children, very musically and performance inclined. At the age of 13, her family moved to Bolivia, South America, where her parents worked in community development. After spending 6 months in a jungle town, they moved to Potosi, 15,000 ft above sea level, where Rachel began creating and producing theatre. Following her passion for acting, Rachel returned to the USA to attend an arts college in Mississippi. She transferred to Northern IL University to study acting under the Gately-Poole program, and in 2011 trained at the Moscow Art Theatre School in Russia. Rachel has been working in film, radio, and theatre in Chicago, IL since the beginning of 2012.
