Yosef Podolski

Yosef Podolski was born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan with a knack for the arts. After immigrating with his family to Haifa, Israel, Yosef's devoted mother encouraged the youth to join the high school drama workshop, where he had made the decision to become an actor. Following his service in the IDF's 101st Airborne Division as paratrooper and combat medic, Yosef moved to Sofia to earn a BFA in Theatre and Dance at the New Bulgarian University. He then relocated to New York to become a graduate of the Stella Adler Conservatory. During his time at Stella, Yosef studied under the gifted Emmy Award-winning Hollywood and stage character actor Anthony Zerbe. Having great influence on Yosef both as an actor and person, Anthony remained an inspiring mentor and a loving paternal figure to him since. Yosef made his television debut on National Geographic's "American Genius" as the German physicist Werner Heisenberg, and has since appeared on hit television shows such as "Hunters" (Amazon), "Homeland" (Showtime), "The Americans" (FX) and more.
