Jahvanna Ryan

Jahvanna Princess Ryan was born in Toronto, Canada, to Janice, who managed a bank, and Leroy, a logistics operator. When she was eight, her family moved to Mississauga, Ontario, where she grew up and attended high school. In high school, Jahvanna was a year-round athlete participating in Women 100 Meter Dash, 200 Meter Dash, 400 Meter hurdles and Relay, running to represent her school every year at the OFSAA Track & Field Championships. She graduated from Father Michael Goetz (Class of 2007). After high school, Jahvanna attended York University, where she ran on the track team, got her blue belt in karate, and was an organizing committee member of SASSL (a sexual assault clinic for students). While completing her degree at York University, she was asked to become a client with the AAB talent agency, then moving on to Bcast Agency. Jahvanna thought of it as a great way to pay off a stack of University loans, and modeled, until her agent found that she could actually act. Her first audition/job was landed without any head-shots, on Nikita. Since then, she has gone on to have many small film roles and modeling gigs. Jahvanna is a 2013 graduate of York University with honours degree in Psychology and Health Management.
