Philane Ndaba

Born in the dusty township streets of Vosloorus, Johannesburg, though currently residing in Cape Town, Philane Ndaba is a filmmaker with a very descriptive and sharp eye for storytelling. Since graduating with a Bachelors Honors Degree in Film Production from the University of Cape Town, Ndaba has continued to hone his writing and directing skills, constantly focusing on youth embedded themes in most of his work, themes such as identity, modernism, the relationships many young people grapple with in today's society, as well as the need to be understood, especially by the older generation.
