Justine Sophia

Justine Sophia trained at the Stella Adler Academy of Acting in Hollywood and after joining SAG became represented by the Envy Agency. She appeared along side Eric Roberts in the 'Tangoman Official Trailer'. Sophia began tango when she was 17 years old in New York City followed by time in Buenos Aires. She is one of the youngest tango stars on the scene today performing on stages internationally. She began apprenticeship with 'Tango Nuevo Cabaret' company in 2015 after also appearing as a guest artist in the 'Tango Argentino Show' in Los Angeles. Justine graduated high school two years early for the sake of pursuing a career in classical ballet in New York City where she trained at the Joffrey Ballet School, The Valentina Kozlova Conservatory, American Ballet Theater and for three years with Gelsey Kirkland who ultimately became her final coach. At Gelsey Kirkland Ballet she performed repertoire from Giselle, Swan Lake, La Bayadere, La Sylphide, Paquita, Grand Pas Classique, Don Quixote, Prince Igor, Coppelia, Bournonville, The Sleeping Beauty and The Nutcracker.
