Biography

Jonathan Louis trained at Studio evidanse in Auxerre. He made his first boards on stage in musicals. In 2010, he joined ISAS-ECM (Higher Institute of Performing Arts, Musical School, Rick Odums). He perfected his skills at the Nikola Parienty stage expression coaching workshop, at Damien Acoca's studio and at Studio Pygmalion. In 2013, he wrote and produced his first short film Contrecoup, broadcast on Orange Cine Novo during the program "Court central". IN 2016, he integrated 1000 faces, played in the gymnasium theater in a staging by Holy Fatma. He was also recruited by the Théâtre de l'oeuvre as room manager under the direction of Benoit Lavigne and François Xavier Demaison. In 2018, he joined the European Film Production Training Center where he trained as an assistant director. He was a third assistant director on the television series "Le bureau des Légendes" broadcast on Canal + produced by Alex Berger alongside directors Eric Rochant, Pascal Ferran and Anna Novion. He is also an ambassador for Capitola Watches, Onepiece, Agoodcompany. Between 2010 and 2019, he also made his first steps in cinema with a few appearances with directors such as Guillaume Gallienne, Frederic Auburtin, Vincent Garenq, Bertrand Bonello, Francois Ozon, Jean Pierre Jeunet, Dai Sijé, Lucien Jean Baptiste, Oliver Ducastel and Jacques Martineau, Studio Bagel, Audrey Dana, Albert Dupontel, Philippe Lacheau, Tarek Boudai, André Téchiné, Micheal Bay, Maxime Govare & Cedric Legallo, Tristan Aurouet, Léa Frédeval, Robin Sykes, Xavier Gens, Kheiron, Marc Fouchard ... He performed alongside Ludovik at the Olympia. He also worked with the humorist duo Yacetom. In 2019, "La Hchouma" the short film by Achraf Ajroui for which he was 1st assistant director won several festival prizes including the Grand Prix Nolita and audience prize at the Urban Film festival, the France television prize at the Cinebanlieue festival. It was presented to the Quizaines des Réalisateurs at the Cannes Film Festival. In addition, the short film "Tomorrow it will be beautiful" by Jean Baptiste Del Amo, for which he was also 1st assistant director, won the Unifrance Prize for short film distributors at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival. As well as the short- Arnaud Baur's "Rich Gas" feature which won the Audience Award at the Taverny film festival. He made his first feature film as 2nd assistant director "Le fils d'un roi" by Cheyenne Marie Carron. Currently starring in "5 GUYS CHILLIN" by Peter Darney, directed by the acclaimed LGBT press Christophe Garro in one of the five main roles, he plays Mehdi. Involved in the LGBT community, he was invited as a Guest during the Pride March alongside A.I.D.E.S. By meeting his talent as a singer-songwriter and his desire to express his convictions, the song "Éprouvant Amour" was born. He contacted Studio MMTP to produce his first single composed by Valentin Rigodon, Lionel Cottereau, Stanislas Ménager. The mastering of the track is sent to Hollywood to the Aftermaster Audio Labs studio distributed by Tunecore. The song "Éprouvant amour" is currently in competition at the ISC (International Songwriting Competition) and Unsigned Only Music Competition in the Pop / Top40 and Performance categories.
