Laila Pruitt

Born in Atlanta, GA. Laila began acting at the age of five, when she was discovered at the America's Model and Talent Showcase in Orlando, FL. She joined forces with her then manager David Doan (now TV Theatrical Agent with CESD), and a local talent agency in Atlanta. From one commercial project to the next, it wasn't hard to see that Laila had a God given talent that was only beginning to bud. She loved being in front of the camera and seemed to just "get it" even at such an early age. In the summer of 2011, she booked the Hairbo candy commercial, her first national commercial, spotlighting her knack for comedy with the timeless line, "That's why they pay you the big bucks!" In the next five years, she remained one of Haribo's top "Kid Executives", going on to shoot several more in Haribo's North American marketing campaign. On a few occasions, Laila acted along side her brother, Santana Pruitt. Even though he decided to "retire" from the industry, she knew she was just getting started. Laila's BIG personality, and infectious spirit lights up any room room she's blessed to be in. Her work ethic and ability to be easily directed, has garnered the accolades of top producers, including Robert Zemeckis when she played along side Denzel Washington and Don Cheadle in Paramount Picture's, Flight. She has stayed busy doing what she loves in projects like Bounce TV's Mann & Wife (pilot), and Freeform's Everything's Gonna Be Okay pilot. In addition to acting, Laila loves singing, dancing, and most recently writing. She has written her first feature length script, and gone on to direct and star in the short for it. Laila works diligently on her craft, giggling and shining every step of the way. She's excited about what's next for her, knowing that she was put on this earth to tell stories and to make people smile. Stay tuned everyone, the Laila show is just getting started...
