Biography

Romie is an Argentinean actress and model who has worked with directors such as Roman Coppola, Dan Rush, and Martin Weisz among others and has been featured in numerous national and international television and print campaigns in both the U.S. and Latin America for companies such as Netflix, Marlboro, Lindt Chocolates, TNT, and Showtime. Romie has also been featured in over a dozen music videos including artists such as Taio Cruz, Romeo Santos, and Atlas Genius. Romie has studied acting at the Universidad de Belgrano in Buenos Aires, Improv at The Second City Hollywood and Scene Study with Robert D'Avanzo in Burbank. Romie was the lead in the short film The Lover Who Doesn't Forget, which premiered at the 66th Festival de Cannes, and had the privilege to work with Jon Voight and Liev Schreiber in a series of promos for the Showtime series Ray Donovan. Romie has been featured in Netflix's print and online campaign and modeled for Marlboro's international print campaign. Romie was born in Torrance, CA to an artistic family. Her Spanish mother is an architect and her Argentinean-Italian father was a journalist. Her family moved to Argentina when she was three, where Romie grew up in the Belgrano neighborhood of Buenos Aires. Romie is fluent in both English and Spanish, and holds degrees in Graphic and Fashion Design from the Universidad de Palermo. Romie is also an avid student of the great avant-garde director and Tarot master, Alejandro Jodorowosky. Romie currently lives in West Hollywood with her husband, the artist and filmmaker, Scott Klinger.
