Daniel recently directed and produced the international documentary Aho (2025), an exploration of what it is a Mexican and what it means to be a Mexican. Earlier this year he co-directed/produced the psychological thriller Te·ra·pì·a (2025) as well as directed and produced a 30th anniversary tribute to Kurt Cobain 30th Anniversary Kurt Cobain Tribute (2025). All of which are in consideration at top film festivals.
As an actor, Daniel appeared in Bracero Brothers (2012), a true life account of Mexican migrant workers in the 1940s. The role was entirely in Spanish and the film was selected for screening at the 2012 A Place Called Sacramento Film Festival. He appeared in Tale of Two Dads (2013), which was co-directed by Lance Bass, an AT&T project that helped raise over $48,000 for The Trevor Project. He also appeared in Lovestition (2013), which was selected for screening at the 2013 Broadway International Film Festival.
