Haldeman began his career as a busboy at The Garden Restaurant in Philadelphia and before the age of 19 worked his way up to a chef's position pumping out 300-400 covers a day. Soon thereafter he landed a gig as Chef and Catering Director aboard ITW's Corporate Entertaining yacht, The Arara III, and coordinated shipboard events with high-end caterers from across the country. This experience gave him the knowledge and confidence to open his own catering business in Philadelphia. Within 3 years Haldeman was one of the leading Corporate/Society Caterers on the east coast. He went on to open restaurants & nightclubs and has consulted for numerous companies launching new operations or revamping existing ones.
In addition to his own business ventures and TV hosting he has, as a consultant, launched many successful ventures for other companies, done "turnarounds" and prepared businesses "for sale", and increased efficiency and profitability for his clients.
