Biography

R. Barri Flowers is an American criminologist, bestselling, award winning novelist and true crime writer, screenwriter, and media personality. Born in Detroit, Michigan, he graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science degrees in Criminal Justice. In 2006, he received the prestigious Wall of Fame Award from MSU's renowned School of Criminal Justice. His highly praised novels include Murder in Maui, Dark Streets of Whitechapel, State's Evidence, Forever Sweethearts, Ghost Girl in Shadow Bay, and Count Dracula's Teenage Daughter, among others. True crime bestsellers include The Sex Slave Murders, Serial Killer Couples, The Pickaxe Killers, The Dynamics of Murder, Prostitution in the Digital Age, and Masters of True Crime. As a well-known expert on serial killers, homicide, offender characteristics, and criminality, Barri has been interviewed on several television crime series, including Blood, Lies and Alibis' The Love Slave Murders (2012) and Wicked Attraction's Twisted Twosome (2008).
