Diana Ivanova has a MA degree in TV Journalism from Sofia University, she was a TV journalist at Bulgarian National Television between 1991 and 1993 and radio moderator and analyst at Radio Free Europe in Prague between 1995 and 2003. Since 2004, she is co-founder and curator of the Goatmilk IFF of memories in Bela Rechka, Bulgaria. In 2005 she received a European Award for Journalism by the Austrian Press Agency in Vienna for her writings on post-communist Europe "Hello Melancholy". She is director of several short documentaries. Listen is her feature documentary directorial debut.
